We are a small group of independent editors who built this site out of frustration.
The AI girlfriend space moves fast and a lot of what's out there is noise. Overblown marketing promises, paywalls that appear after you've gotten attached to a character, features advertised that simply don't exist.
We got tired of seeing people waste money on apps that didn't deliver, and we couldn't find a review site that was actually honest about it.
So we built one.
Every app we review is tested firsthand. We create accounts, run conversations, test the features, hit the paywalls, and document what we find — good and bad. We have no preferred partners and no minimum ratings. If an app is mediocre, we say so.
Why we stay anonymous: we test apps that many people use privately. Publishing under real names would compromise both our ability to test authentically and the privacy we think everyone in this space deserves. Our credibility comes from the consistency and depth of our reviews, not from our LinkedIn profiles.
How We Review
Every review on this site follows the same process. We buy a real subscription, spend genuine time with the app, and score it against the same criteria — no exceptions.

We purchase a full paid subscription with our own money and create an account from scratch, exactly as any new user would.
Test Everything
We work through every core feature methodically, spending enough time with each to form a genuine, experience-based impression.
Score & Publish
We rate each criterion independently and publish our verdict — no input from the app's team, no paid placements, ever.
What We Evaluate
Conversation Quality
How natural, coherent, and engaging the chat feels over time, including memory and context retention.
Roleplay & Adult Content
How well the app handles spicy scenarios and explicit requests without breaking immersion or refusing arbitrarily.
Characters & Customisation
The variety of built-in personas and how much freedom you have to create or fully personalise your own.
Image Generation
The quality, realism, and consistency of AI-generated images produced within the app.
Video Generation
Whether the app supports video output and how good — or bad — the results actually look.
Voice & Calls
The naturalness and responsiveness of voice features, including real-time calls and audio messages.
