How We Earn Money

We participate in affiliate programs with some of the AI companion platforms we cover. When you click a link on this site and sign up for a paid subscription, we may receive a commission from the company. The amount and structure of these commissions vary by platform and are disclosed to us in advance as part of each affiliate agreement.

We do not earn money in any of the following ways:

• Selling sponsored placements, rankings, or “featured” spots to app developers
• Accepting payments, gifts, or free subscriptions in exchange for a favorable review
• Publishing press-kit content without independent testing
• Selling advertising banners or display ads

How This Affects Our Reviews

Our affiliate relationships do not influence which apps we review, how we score them, or what we write about them. We cover both apps that have affiliate programs and apps that do not. An app's affiliate commission rate has zero weight in our methodology — an app that pays us more will not receive a better score than one that pays us less.

If we find an app disappointing, we say so in the review regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship with it. Our reputation for honest, independent reviews is the most valuable thing we have — compromising it for short-term earnings would defeat the purpose of this site.

Which Links Are Affiliate Links

Affiliate links are primarily found in:

• Individual app review pages — typically the “Try” or “Visit” call-to-action buttons
• Comparison tables and ranked lists
• Any promotional banner or highlight card for a specific app

Plain text mentions of a platform’s name within editorial content may or may not be affiliate-linked. If in doubt, assume that any outbound link to a reviewed platform may earn us a commission.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site — for example, which reviews are read most often and how people navigate between pages.
