Candy AI Shorts: How Good Is This AI Video Series?

I first tested this feature in May 2026 while still in early beta, but since then it has grown in popularity.

I tried them again today and found hundreds of series featuring different characters and plots.

The videos look impressively polished, particularly the character movement and lip sync. The catch is that only the first two episodes are free, while others require an active subscription.

What Are Candy AI Shorts?

Candy Shorts are plot-based video series featuring Candy AI characters. Each series is divided into multiple short episodes, with most episodes lasting around 1 minute.

The feature has grown fast since I first encountered it. In May 2026, I remember seeing roughly three series with a few episodes each. By September, I could browse hundreds of different series.

There was far more variety in the characters and scenarios, making it feel like an established content library rather than a small beta test.

Finding Shorts is simple. I opened the Candy AI sidebar, clicked Shorts, and landed on a dedicated page containing the available series.

The library includes filters for specific characters. I could also browse using tags (e.g spicy, step sister, step mom, MILF, etc.)

What You Can Watch for Free

You can watch the first two episodes of each series for free. I didn’t need a paid subscription to access those previews.

The free episodes I watched contained no nudity. They were structured as teasers, setting up the plot and hinting at what would happen next.

Typically, the second episode ended on a cliffhanger suggesting that the following episode would become more explicit.

From episode three onward, the series I watched usually introduced nudity and became progressively more adult.

To continue past the two previews, you need an active subscription and must unlock each episode separately. A subscription alone doesn’t open the full Shorts catalog.

Candy Shorts Cost & Pricing

Most of the episodes I checked cost 12 credits to unlock. Some series charged 30 credits for a single episode, so the price wasn’t consistent across the library.

The monthly subscription gives you 100 credits, which can disappear very quickly if you start unlocking these episodes, particularly at the higher 30-credit price.

In other words, Candy Shorts can burn through your included credits surprisingly fast. If you follow several series or unlock episodes without being selective, you may need to buy additional credits.

Candy AI Shorts Video Quality

The video quality looked remarkably polished in the series I watched.

Character movement appeared smooth and professional, while the characters themselves remained convincing throughout the clips. There were moments when it wasn’t immediately obvious that I was watching AI-generated video.

That doesn’t mean every frame was guaranteed to be perfect, or that every series in the catalog has identical quality. But the videos I tested were a long way from the stiff, obviously artificial AI clips you might expect.

The lip sync was another standout. When characters spoke, their mouth movements matched the dialogue well, which helped the scenes feel more believable.

For one-minute videos designed to pull you into a story quickly, that visual polish matters. If the movement or speech looked awkward, the illusion would fall apart almost immediately.

Language and Subtitles

Shorts played in English by default. But I could also turn on subtitles in multiple languages.

That’s a useful addition for viewers who don’t speak English fluently or prefer to watch with the sound off.

Final Thoughts

Candy Shorts has grown from roughly three early-beta series into a library containing hundreds of short video stories. That’s a major change in only a few months.

The videos I watched had strong character movement, polished visuals, and convincing lip sync. You can also watch two episodes from each series for free, making it easy to decide whether a particular story deserves your credits.

The trade-off is cost. Later episodes require both a subscription and separate unlocks, and 12 to 30 credits for a one-minute episode can drain a 100-credit allowance quickly.
